I've obviously just emerged from under a rock and discovered meg your day. This is pretty amazing - particularly the supersport data on Saturdays. I know it should work, can anyone confirm that it does work?

I have used it a few times, but really cannot confirm, since I'm on wifi most of the time.

EDIT: It does seem handy though, like today's bundle is 1gig of data for Instagram, for those that do use it.

True that. Although 1GB equates to about 2 hours which should cover at least one rugby / soccer game each Saturday. That's a sweet bonus

I see the Saturday allocation is 2GB for sport Also, DSTV Now is included, now I'm wondering if that counts for any channel, or if they have some way of filtering to allow the sports channels only.

Have you heard about telkom mobiles new deal which lets you stream DSTV now and many others for free.. Albeit in 360p but its available to all whom subscribe to the FreeMe 5GB option and above

So how much does it cost, cause Vodacom site won't reveal that on their website?

Maybe the competitors products are so cheap, that you can pay the same and use the data for anything and it takes longer to expire.

Vodacom meg my day is free. The thing with contracts is you're locked into them so competing products become pretty irrelevant

Totally relevant if you're sizing up your options. Sucks to be locked in to a contract and only find out about the other offerings now lol.

The thread is about the workings of a specific vodacom offering, not a comparison between various options.

Anyway, back to the topic. I activated the 2GB supersport bundle yesterday and was able to stream some of the tennis. Sadly there wasn't a stack of live sport to watch yesterday, but I'll certainly be maxing out the 2GB next week!
