Good day,
So after last nights storm I decided I might just as well keep my ADSL line plugged in day in, and day out, regardless of the weather conditions. This is well and all, but if the lightning were to strike my line, I wouldn't like to loose a D-Link router. I have a old Telkom Mega 100 that's still working.
I want to set IP the Mega to act as a modem, and the d-link to do the dialing. I just can't seem to be able to do this. The D-link just doesn't want to dial through the mega at all. The mega is in bridged mode, and the dlink is doing a pppoe connection. The mega is running routertech firmware if that makes a difference. Has anyone here gotten this configuration to work? I couldn't find any information on getting this to work. So here is my question, will this setup work?
