Mega 100WR, Maximum Conenctions??

Hi..


I currently have 4 MAC address's listed on my Routers "allowed" list. If I add another address ,after a day or so it deletes one of the MAC address's . So that it only has 4 left.

Is this because the Mega100WR can only have 4 Wifi connections at once?
Or is there some other reason for this?

Maybe the router has limitations for allowed mac addresses. Why do you stipulate the mac add. anyway? The router allows any device to connect as long as you have the network key to log in. You can have multiple devices connected to the router, without using the "allowed list." That list is for extra security, where the router authenticates all mac add. before logging them on.
Just remove that security option for "allowed list" and log on normally with wep/wpa key.

was hoping to use the extra security, but I gues I will have to just do without it......

on my router (some shiro router), if i make any changes and i dont click on a command "Save all settings" then if the router restarts (eskom ) i lose all those changes, maybe its something similar to your problem?
