Can somebody please help and explain to me how I can setup my Mega 100wr2 router so i have to click a icon on my desktop to connect tothe internet?
I know i have to use PPPoE as far as i'm correct.
On my old Telkom Marconi router i just removed the username and password on the modem and it was in bridge/pppoe. Can you please explain difference between bridge mode and pppoe too?
On my Mega 100wr2 router I can'r remove the username and password, well i don't seem to get it right..
My problem is that i am on a LAN with 10 computers.
I share my ADSL connection with two other computers/friends on the LAN. (wired LAN, not wireless), but don't want the other computers to use my internet connection.
If the username/password is on the modem, then the others have access to my adsl account, which i do not want.
Up to now we each had/have a icon on our desktop which we double-click to connect to the ADSL service provider, but my router packed up and i got a new Mega 100wr2 from telkom.
If i connect the Mega 100wr2 to my computer it immediately connects to the internet because my username and password is on the modem, but this i do not want.
I want to remove my username and password on the modem and leave those spaces blank. and use PPPoE to connect to the internet when I want to go online.
Can anybody please explain how to do this?
