MegaLAN gone MegaBANG ????

It seems that MegaLAN is no longer with us, and their customers (the few that they had left) are up in arms because payment was in advance.

For the last 2 weeks, there has been no sign of life, no VPN services, no not even their Dynamic DNS domain name for the VPN exists (pptp-gw.megalan.co.za).

It seems this one-man-band has conned us all. Taking the money and running! I doubt that all the "Network Notices" (excuses) on their website are phoney. They don't even have backup generators, let alone backup staff!

Stay away... stay very far away, but hey don't let one very irate and disgruntled customer speak for you. Give them a call, an email, a call on the on mobile. NOTHING---NADA! ZILTCH

Haha dont that teaches u guys , to buy from such small companys that offer u the world , it was so ovice they were gona go down or Telkom bought them up to shut em up

No wonder - I applied to have their services some eon's ago and never received a single reply.

There's companies signing contracts for towersharing to do the same a MegaLAN, --- Telkom did not shut them up...

Need to know if you still have your client side equipment? - I would I would presume such... One may be able to figure a different way to using that. In the mean-time I will try to find out if their repeaters etc still exists.
