Memory card crashed

Hi
My memory card in my S4 just stopped working. I tried to format but keeps saying windows can't format. I cant even do a data recovery. Is there any way of fixing this even if it's just to get my pictures off

Here's instructions that got mine working and recovered my pictures. Not the exact link I used but similar instructions.

When reformatting to use again do it via the phone and not via windows.

Should I follow the instructions on my phone or pc?

Take out the microsd put it into an adapter and then plug it into a computer, open command line and do those steps. If it's successful and after you copy your stuff put the microsd back into the phone and format. Windows formatting doesn't seem to agree with the phone.

Crap... did just that.! No success....

Some people have had success with reformatting the disk in a camera but obviously it erases everything.

Other than that I'd guess the card is a goner.

Search for 'HP usb format tool' and try that, works with most things.
