I want to upgrade the RAM for a spare computer I have at home, the memory I took out looks like DDR2, but on the RAM the following is written:

256MB DDR PC 3200

Is that 3200 the speed? Can I get any DDR2 RAM?

AFAIK I think it is DDR-400MHz

Nope, won't even fit in the slot.

Yes you need to get DDR 400Mhz PC3200 as they mentioned before DDRII wont even fit in the slot.
