Hi All,

I'm looking at upgrading my current motherboard but I'm unsure about one thing - its been a few months so I'm a little outdated in terms of hardware.

The board I'm looking at supports these memory speeds...

x DIMM, Max. 32GB, DDR3- 2933(O.C.)/2800(O.C.)/2666(O.C.)/2600(O.C.)/2400(O.C.)/2200(O.C.)/2133(O.C.)/2000

Can I use DDR3 2400Mhz with this board as it does say O.C (Over Clock) if so what exactly does it mean in detail:confused:

Do you want to upgrade to another X58 motherboard? If so, why would you want to do that?

I'd rather stick with low latency DDR3 1600 or 1866. There is very little gain by getting "faster" RAM, especially if you're not pushing the boundaries and using your PC to run benchmarks...

Yes you can use the RAM. It means you have to overclock to get to the speed (if the memory supports to that speed).
