Mercedes B Class - Any Thoughts

So guys ,

What is your opinion of the Mercedes B Class (current version) , do any of you own one as i read some good reviews regarding this vehicle and seems perfect for a family due to the configurations it allows for seating

If I had the money I would buy one, it is a superb car.

It's a pretty decent car, much better than the first generation B-class. It's also using their new dual-clutch transmission. Personally though I'd opt for the C-class, due to its popularity it will have a better resale value.

Looks a bit bulky, quite spacious inside.

Not sure how it rides, but since it's a Merc, probably very comfortable.

Apparently if you spec the sport suspension, the ride is a bit hard... So, steer clear of the sport pack. This was in a few reviews.

They have obviously never driven a BMW with sports suspension.

It is, but

seems perfect for a family

the A-class is a tad small for family.

Oh definitely. But the A class is not a family sized car. I'd go for the C-class in terms of size though.

Depends how big your kids are, and how many of them you have. The A-class is spacious enough if they're little.

Depends on how much space you need. My Corsa is big enough for 4 adults and some (not a lot) of luggage. The A-Class is perfectly sized and you just have to accept the price at which it comes. It is a Mercedes after all, the best cars in the world.

true. Well 4 of me will fit and then no more.
In a A-class it will just be so much more comfy.

Yes it is true, family could possibly refer to 2 parents plus two kiddies.
But the average guy won't fit comfortably in the back though.

Boring, bland, ugly.... Ugggg... Im no merc fan as you may notice, but really steer clear of a B class. My gran has the A170. Not quite the same, but really not a good look. Rather get an A3.

Yeah, of course, I will admit the new one is quite nice. But I reckon if she bought a new merc, it would be the new B class. And trust me not man wants to be seen in the same car my gran drives.
