Getting a good deal on the B200 Turbo and thinknig of buying

Something Im wondering is the car has great reviews, but on SA roads they are few and far between, any specific reason for this?

My parents are currently driving the previous B Class model(I think is a 2007 model also 2l with a turbo), I have taken it for a spin quite a couple of times, the car drives wonderfully and doesn't lack in the department of power.

Why so few people drive it, I guess it is because of the price of driving a Mercedes, you also can't see the bonnet and the view of the back through your rear view mirror is a bit small.

The rear view mirror really isn't a problem though, the bonnet thing is a bit, but over time you get used to it and you know where the front of the car is.

Which model are you looking at and how much is it going to cost you?

The B class is a little pricey for what you get... most guys end up jumping to the C class.

But there's nothing wrong with the B class, the new one is very purdy and it's still a very good buy.

I drive a 1 series and a C class.... first time in the 1 series and I felt blind and squashed (thanks to the small rear window and mirrors). You get used to it very quickly though.

I took a look at a B180 for my mother in law. Can't say I was amazed by anything. The inside was a bit plasticky. To me there's nothing at all exciting about it but the new one does look much better than the previous one. Inside just didn't look as good as the outside so was a bit dissapointing in that regard I guess. I'm sure most moms probably did go for something like the ix35 considering you can basically get a mid range one for the price of an entry level B class. The higher boot makes it a bit easier loading things and I guess the whole "faux 4x4" thing makes it look less mommyish.

Because for the simple reason it's the "cheapy" of the range and there are far better buys out there for the price.

B180 was a bit sluggish in Gauteng imo. Nice car. You can tell it's a merc, but you can tell that it is a budget merc.

Does it come with motoplan?
