Good Day Everyone,

I have had a very long sordid fantasy of owning a Mercedes CLS for quite some time now. I might be in a position to buy one in the new year and was wondering if anyone could give me some advice regarding which models/specs to go for

For e.g.
CLS 350 or CLS 500
Pre facelift / Facelift (2008)

Also realistically, what would I be looking at in terms of fuel consumption as we all know the marketing literature contains figures that are a little too "optimistic". Would the consumption between the 350 and 500 really be that much different?

Thanks guys. Your insights are appreciated.

The 350 is a V6 and the 500 a V8 from what I remember so more cylinder generally equal more fuel.

Also higher maintenance costs as more spark plugs, injectors, coils, valves etc.

Yes that is correct. Any specifics on fuel consumption or maintenance?
