a Friend told me his Mercedes Benz build in gps only have township names for the towns. He does not know all the towns names and and is frustrated with it.

I never quite understood the allure of having an in-dash navigation system. Those maps are more than often outdated, and costs a small fortune to update once an update is eventually available. A basic entry level GPS(TomTom/Garmin) costing about R1500 will suffice for most. And most have lifetime map updates included for free.

Pretty much agree & fairly often the graphics & UI looks like it was outsourced to Nintendo. The major appear would be that the full infotainment "experience" in a single in dash solution.

I love the navigation in my C-Class.

there hasn't been a place i haven't found yet, and the convenience of the way they set it up in the car is fantastic! also being able to control it with my voice is both super cool and keeping me safe while i navigate and drive :)

all i see in this thread is allot of Jelly from guys who don't have navi's in their cars  .....its the best thing since sliced bread....best option i put on my vehicle.
