Partly a rant.. and partly just because I can.

Now just to put this into context.. I drive a Mercedes myself, but people like the following irritate me NO end.

To the d00s who owns NUR20013 and decided to park in Gateway this evening and take up 2 parking spaces because your pretty little ML might get scratched if you didn't have boat loads of room around it, or maybe because you're too fat to get out of the behemoth of a vehicle.. I hope you enjoy the fine for the wheel clamp that got merrily put on your stupid vehicle after I walked up to the Wheel clamp payment station and told them about your vehicle.

It was also satisfying to see the eagerness with which the attendant reported the incident and how quickly the clamp got put on your vehicle.

Also what irritates me is that people who can walk, will park in disabled parking zones. :(

And it's also interesting to note the laziness of some of Homo Sapiens' specimens - most will park illegally just to be closer to their office block rather than park further away. :rolleyes:
 
Pet hate of mine too, and to top it off a ML is a really K@K vehicle. Its ride quality sucks. Golfas and Corollas have better ride quality.

lol good one, you'll probably find that ML parked in a disabled zones "near you" as well. These self entitled morons deserve every bit of grief they get.
 
So stoopid, I would expect the chance of getting your car scratched would increase by taking two parking spots. I fail to grasp sometimes how inconsiderate people can be
 
I've noticed that exotic car drivers do this as well in the Sandton area. But I guess the cost of removing the clamp is FAR less than the cost of repairing any damage.

That, and exotica tend to be a fair amount wider than your average car, so squeezing into a parking spot isn't quite as easy as it would be with say a Golf.

Dude, seriously, you seem to be in a constant battle with everyone. I think you need some sort of medication or something.
Besides, you stay in KZN, you should learn to deal with those things. Not every one can live in paradise like we do here in the Cape - accept it make peace with it.

Look, if you really have to do something about it, squeeze into the bay next to then and open your door on them a few times. Handbags also leave very bad scratch marks if someone has to wiggle their way between to cars so you can pretend your key is a handbag. Just make sure you take a picture from behind getting both registration plates in the frame - should you be the one that needs to claim from insurance afterwards.

Nah, I won't go around damaging people's cars.
I hope karma will sort the fscker out that dinged my door by opening there's too far though.
