Merging documents in MS Word

I have close to 100 single page word documents (with a pic on each page) which I need to merge into one single document.

I need the format to stay the same, the layout, the spacing, everything to stay the same.

Is there an easy way to do this? The solutions I have found so far are falling way short...

shouldn't take too long to open each one and add it to the first one by cut and paste.

Ctrl-A to select all
Ctrl-V to paste

If they are all the same version of Word they will retain their formatting.

That's what I had been doing. You'd be amazed at exactly what word can do to a document's formatting!
