Has anyone given this Android/iPhone chat application a try?

Personally WhatsApp is enough for me. I only noticed it cause it's climbing the Play Store chart.

From what I've read when forumites pit WhatsApp against BBM, the topic of having to give your number to someone is always brought up :wtf: (You'd swear the guys posting this are actually females who have been stalked). This app has a pin you can give away rather than a number.

WeChat is better. Have you tried it?

I gave it a bash wasn't impressed with it. Made my phone hotspot inaccessible
