Metalogix Software was founded in 2001 with the goal of creating tools for migrating Microsoft SharePoint content easily and quickly. It was expanded in 2008 with the addition of the archiving business from H&S Software of Vienna, Austria. Metalogix added the StoragePoint product line from BlueThread Technologies in 2010. Metalogix is profitable and privately held. The company’s investors include Bessemer Venture Partners and Insight Capital Partners.
