DURBAN Metro Police Service (DPMS) has warned motorists obstructing the free-flow of traffic that they will be fined or have their vehicles towed.

This comes after law enforcement conducted operations around the Pearls and Oceans Mall area in uMhlanga and the Durban CBD.

Metro police white shirt officers are stationed on Lagoon Drive with a focus on issuing tickets and handling road traffic infractions.

They need to do more of this in more of the city.

Especially in the "CBD" nodes, like Hillcrest, Pinetown, Westville, Durban CBD.

What would also be nice (though its not Metro's area) is some level of traffic enforcement on the damn N2/N3 areas under construction.
