This is the type of thing that just boils my blood. These people know that job security isn't a thing anymore, but because we are trying to do the responsible thing by making sure that we don't overspend. Now MetroFibre wants to punish us?
Why have the prepaid option if you don't want to service prepaid customers?
But that is not all. I asked them if I will see any speed benefit because I am clearly paying more for something. But it is not getting any better.
I am told other providers are dropping the 50Mb option for whatever reason and is offering the more expensive 75Mb option and the lower speed of 25Mb as an option. It is clear that these ISPs is forcing customers into paying more or getting less but still have to pay more.
Is it time to ask for legislation? Because who has the money to fight this in court?
Investors want to see growth but it is always the customer that gets beaten up. I am just going to pay the R440 per month I am not going over to their contract because it is a contract and right now I don't want that.
Ag seriously I don't care at this point, They must do what they want to do. But hope government wakes the hell up and start punishing these ISPs harshly for bullying customers into a corner.
