Mexican Tacos

Hi All,

Am looking for Mexican Taco Shells, anyone know where i can find them?
I tried Pick and Pay but there was nothing.

Any ideas?

They used to gave the Ortega (iirc) brand, which was great. Don't see that anymore, but the ridiculously priced Old El Paso (sp?) is still available.

Pretty much every supermarket has them now. I think Ortega is way better than the Old El Paso brand. I think Woolies even carry taco shells now, it will be on the Mexican shelf, next to the Asian shelf.

At PnP I think the Old el Paso costs over R40 for a small box. Insane.

When in desperation, buy flour tortillas, drape them over an upside-down muffin pan and bake for a few minutes at 190C.. Voila! Crispy tortilla shells that actually hold the filling, albeit not corn tortillas but good nonetheless...

yep Old El Paso price is insane,
So is woolies and Ortega Cheaper then El Paso
