Wonder if we will get some feedback from OP on what the actual reason was, and if it was resolved....

@ToxicBunny, the parent company banks with Nedbank. My HR manager requested that they follow it up, but they too could not manage to change the situation.

@furpile, what I have written is all the information I have. The bank did not go into detail, but I have given up on trying. As the person at the bank simply put it, as long as I work here I wont get finance from MFC period.

That's harsh. I was asking because someone else mentioned the Telkom registration, but you never said this was the case. If they are not willing to give more info I am not sure what else you could try. First step would be to lodge a complaint with the bank itself. If you are not able to resolve this you can try http://www.obssa.co.za/ to see if they can help getting a proper answer.
