MFC merged with NedBank?

Did anybody know this?

I just received an sms saying:
"Dear Nedbank client, as MFC recently merged with Nedbank, your MFC vehicle finance account will now be managed by Nedbank Motor Finance."

Am glad it was not ABSA though. Hopefully the service doesn't drop because I always had good service with MFC for 4 years.

MFC/Nedbank is the same as Wesbank/FNB and it has been like this for years.

If you haven't noticed anything in the past, it's unlikely that you will notice anything in the future either.

I have no idea why they are only informing clients now - this change took place back in 2011 as far as I can recall.

In name, only. The actual merger of staff, infrastructure and consolidation of systems is still ongoing...

Correct ,I had finance with MFC and they sent me mail and post to inform me back then, service was still good from them.....did not even notice the change.

Yeah.. I did not notice the change while I had a car financed through them...

Was informed of it, and life just carried on as per normal.
