Hi

I am due for upgrade next month. I was looking at getting the Huawei P10.
I want to connect the phone to the TV via HDMI.

Some sites claim it can be done and others say not.

Will I be able to buy an MHL adaptor with the USB type C connector on the one end and HDMI on the other end and stream audio and video to the tv or do I need to get another phone if I want that?

As far as I know, chromecast only works if the application supports it as well. Which is what I am trying to avoid, since I know alot of apps does not support chromecast, which means half of it won't work anyways.

You can cast your whole phone display aswell. Apps with build in casting is only to save SOT because the screen can be off or the phone in another room etc.
