Mi Bedside Lamp 2 Power Supply

So I bought two of these for my kids rooms and one of them fell and the pin for plug bent. I tried the lamp on working plug and works fine so now I need to source a replacement plug.

Anyone know where I could find these or if there are any generic ones I could use? Will post pics of plug after this post.

I just tried a 12v charger (router plug) and it fits just fine in the lamp.

If you just want the plug, Mantech should be able to help. If a 12V LTE router adapter fits then it sounds like it has a 5.5X2.1mm DC plug. The first type only requires a screwdriver while the second type needs to be soldered ...

@weelzSA: Just ask them before you purchase it. Geewiz usually has very good customer support. When I was looking for a power supply for a Chromecast they were very helpful.

@weelzSA: Pleased to hear that they were able to help. Do they think that the 1A adapter will be a suitable replacement? It appears to be of higher quality than most of the cheap ones available as they have a number of technical specifications listed such as ripple voltage etc. which is unusual for cheap noname brands. They also have a noname 2A version for R90 but I'm not sure about the connector. Maybe you can find something else loadshedding related to reduce the shipping cost!

I just tried a 12v charger (router plug) and it fits just fine in the lamp.

Dan, have you managed to set it to reading mode without using the app? I noticed that even if I change the color to white and drag the level to 100% it is still not as bright as "reading mode".

TBH, I hardly have mine more than 30%. So unfortunately can't answer that.

Thanks. I am going to buy a xiaomi button/switch so that I can set it to reading mode via the smart hub.
