Mi-Fi routers which are better?

Am in need of extra data, during the day, and considering getting RAIN R250.00 deal and a Mi-Fi router, for while I am out and about.

Load shedding is forcing me to rely more and more on my phone for data.

Is there a Mi-Fi router, that is better than the rest, or are they a much of the same when it comes to being able connect, or are there some that are better than others, and can achieve stable connections under adverse conditions.

Seems they are all CAT 4 LTE capable.

ive got 3 of the Alcatel units all 4g lte .no issues .batteries arent great but spare generics are cheap
