Mic Prob's - Pls Help

Hi guys

Whenever i play bf2 and click on the join server button.

My mic option gets set to mute on the volume control is systray.

I then have to alt+tab out of the game, untick mute mic & alt+tab back into bf2

If anyone could help, it would be most appreciative.

reload bf 2 and make sure your mic is working in the setup and tick enable mic boost

I played around with my different mic inputs.

Seems that the front input cause that prob, but the back doesnt

Could be the front mic input is faulty.

yea i would not suggest using front audio

use the ports that come with your card and not your box

Prob still the same.

I've tried creating new profiles, reinstalled the game & everything else i can possibly think of....but alas its still the same

I have the Plantronics USB Gaming Headset, but all I get is static from whatever game I choose to play.
