Michael Jordaan teases Bank Zero progress

So these website holding page critics above are the judging a book by its cover types?

When it comes to an entity that is billing itself as a next generation bank with a predominantly online presence, then this cover is something to judge it by....

Not at all they can change our minds later I'm sure.

But there are many out there that are very definitely those types and it's them that you put a reasonable proper webpage together for even if it does nothing.

It doesn't take a whole lot of time and effort to put together a nice page that's pleasing to look at; some light graphics or whatever to make the page interesting and less like a tl;dr.

You know for an all digital company and pushing new tech...their website looks pretty damn amateur at present.

Does not inspire confidence.

Why? If it wasn't for this MyBB article no one would even have searched or gone to the website.

There is this though - www.bankzero.co.za/ourproducts
jk. jk.

The two heavy weights behind this venture were the driving force behind FNB's leading digital platforms (internet banking and the FNB app). While I do agree the info page is dated and amateur to say the least, I am willing to bet that will be nothing compared to the final product.

I actually have no idea what your point is. Articles are written to direct people to new things they might not find themselves. What does it matter how we find something? Again - takes all of a few hours to set up a page that looks cool, is easy to read and gets me interested.

And this was pointed out in January already:

They've been sitting on a ****ty looking page for 5+ months now.
This is fine for a 90's website selling muffins.
It's lazy for a bank that's supposedly at the digital frontier.

Well if RAIN is anything to go by then I would stay VERY far away :)

It is because I'm watching that I'm so disappointed in the website.

However credit to Michael Jordaan who has had direct DM conversations with me happily on Twitter...can't say that about most CEO's and/or Venture Capitalists in SA.
