rrba-dns2.saix.net 196.43.1.11 Rosebank Caching only

Mweb:

196.2.46.254

IBurst:

196.30.31.193 - Joburg

Verison:
196.7.0.138 - Cape Town
196.7.142.132 - Joburg

Open DNS:
208.67.220.220
208.67.222.222

Hmm, I've also been looking for those, thanks Michael!

Which ones are the best to use for the iBurst network?

Sure no probs.

Depends which area you are in, for Cape Town, in prefered order Open DNS, Verizon then iBurst.

For Joburg, Verizon, then iBurst, Joburg area can't use Open DNS due to the proxy server iBurst / Verizon employs.

Note that once the site's name appears in the browser's title bar the DNS request has terminated, if your connection is slow it will remain slow - it will only find the webpage quicker.

For sure, but I get alot of DNS failures (especially with systems on the IS network) - currently using the auto assigned addresses on my router. So I want to try and force the servers to see if it makes a difference.
