Michelle Meth is the group financial manager at Cell C. She joined the company in June 2002 as a financial manager and was promoted to her current position in January 2004, making her the youngest executive in the company. Her primary role involves managing major divisions within the finance department and reporting group financial results to the relevant stakeholders. She also played a key support role to the executive team that raised high yield bond funding of €400-million and $270-million in July 2005.
Prior to joining Cell C, she held a financial accountancy position at Primedia. She plays an active role in the “Take a Girl Child To Work Day” campaign, coaching, motivating and advising girl learners from disadvantaged communities who are interested in a career in finance.

Meth is a CA, and studied through Unisa and RAU. She completed her articles in the audit firm Meyor Wilson Marsh.
