My first bit if advice ... stay away from "Micky Mouse" ISP's

For a last 3-4 months I have been having endless problems with no internet connect and loss of connection to high site "Hederkruin Towers" with my Screamer WIFI link.

It got so bad that eventually I upgraded the CPE antenna to a 5GHz grid and that helps SFA, now I get connected at least once a day. Christmas day is was down from 6/7am to 3pm. New Years weekend it was down for a few hours at a time. The list goes on ... This weekend that same, connect up and down more than a yo-yo.

To make thins worse is that the help is only manned during limited hours (like extended office hours), so if the connection disconnects when the helpdesk "offline" my internet link stays "offline" too. It is so bad I have had to duplicate data connectivity with a 3g data package. Now I ask you is their R300 odd for 5G that cost effective taking into the extra data on 3g.

Somehow I think the company missed the plot when they started their WIFI, WiMAX and ADSL connections. Did they get the name for the company from the time people stood on the mountains tops and "screamer" the messages to each other.

This message was done on Vodacom 3G ... Screamer is DOWN!

Krazykid ...... Screaming!
