I've got a bunch of peeps coming to visit from the States and they'll be bringing their iPhones with them. I'm wanting to get them each a prepaid CellC sim card but realise I'm going to need micro sims for the iPhones. Anybody know what the easiest way to go about getting 13 CellC micro sims would be?

The sims are going to have to be RICA'd, I guess that you know that.

1) Go to a Cell C shop and just get it from them, I seem to recall that they charge R60 for a microsim.

2) Get them anywhere and use a sim cutter to cut them to size, would only take a few minutes.

Cell C charges R114.00 for a micro Sim.
Buy your sim for R1.00 and use a simcutter

Thanks guys. Any idea where I'd find said sim cutter?

EDIT: I just phoned CellC Hatfield, they charge R135 for a micro sim. I asked the guy if I can't just buy R1 cards and cut them. He gave a sheepish laugh and said I could. Now to find myself a cutter.

Unfortunately I'm in Joburg, but if you don't come right, give me a PM.

I'm not a seller, but maybe I can help you out.

Thanks everyone. We managed to find one on Amazon for about $4 so they'll just be bringing that along.

The istore cuts it in seconds and for free, just take the sim to them. Had mine done a month or so back.

i think i got my cell c prepaid microsim for a nominal amount of R10 in sandton

edit - don't forget your rica docs
