Hi Guys

I am looking for feedback on the UPS for routers/switches, like the one found here
I read that they are DC to DC and don't convert to 220V, hence they give us up to 8 hrs.

Are there other brands that are worth looking at?

Thanks
Kitty

I've got the one you linked to. It's been great.

I bought one of these (the UltraLAN 45W model) on Monday but I see it's out of stock now. Was cheaper than the Gizzu and is exactly the same thing just under a different brand (without that gaudy logo too).

What sort of times do you get ? How many devices do you have on it ?

Currently it's my Edge router (for QoS so I don't lag during games when my brother is doing stuff), wifi router, and the ONT. It has 4 bars and it only ever drops 1 bar during a 2 hour load shedding slot, so I guess it lasts 6-8 hours. Have had it for about a 10 months now, give or take.

Were you able to get the DC jacks for all your devices? I have a Huawei ONT and a Huawei wifi router from Afrihost.

I ordered mine from Uniterm Direct and if you scroll below to the bottom of the page you'll see they have DC to DC cables here.

Just bought a few extra of those with the unit.

I have a few of these works well.

Seems there are lots of different DC jacks, all slightly different. How do one get the correct DC jacks for your equipment? Yes, I prefer to rather make up new cables than cut the existing ones.
