Where can I go and buy one? I want to walk into a shop, in JHB and buy one, I am so sick of having to order stuff and wait for a few days to send.

yip it should work for the xoom as well. you can use the same cable for the note. gender changer usb cables. from micro usb to usb.

I'm interested to know if it works. I also ordered one off BoB, but it doesn't appear to be OTG. Going to take it apart later this morning to modify it to make it OTG.
 
How would you test that it is in fact an OTG cable? Mine picks up a mouse but I'm unable to view HDD contents in my file explorer. Do I require root access for that?
