Hi

I bought a Microcom Deskporte USB ADSL modem and would like to know if someone else has this modem working with their adsl, because i`m having trouble configuring it with my axxess account. I would apreciate help as i am not experienced in adsl.

I looked at the post, no help this is the usb modem just for one pc, i bought it at incredible connections.A :confused: ny help?

I have no experience with this usb version, principle should be the same tho. Once plugged in the usb port and powered up the modem should see the ADSL connections with LED's flashing for short while then go on. ???.just check the manual here. Only reason I post is to say make sure the USb is compatible with PC and install latest USB drivers from the net, depending on What operating system, Once you see the modem via USB You should be able to open Internet explorer, Type in the given URL addressas stated in the quick startup note and get access to set up the modem. If this is not possible there is a issue with the USB connction. You must insert the cd to auto configure the modem connection with ISP once

1) adsl connection is established
2) USb connection is established
3) ISP connection is established

This is the order it should be done. One in not dependant on the other for establishing the operation but to get to 3) both 1) and 2) must be established in any order. Hope this help and Post real procedure once Ok.
