I must have posted this before, but since I have not come right yet, I am posting again.

Where can I get a genuine MicroFiber cloth.

I need it for screens around the house.

I rememebr Esquire should stock them but the last time I went they dont have.

Anyone?

Well! I got a microfibre cloth with my Acer Ferrari; but I can never find it; I found at PicknPay there is a 3 pack of microfibre cloth for cleaning cars which works just as well and should last a heck of a lot longer...

Discovered just the other day that all my Samsung LCDs came with a cloth. :)

I found microfibre cloths at checkers that I use on my car and on my LCD and plasma screens. There are two types i.e. coarse yellow ones for cars and fine blue ones for screens and windows. You could buy the expensive Meguiars microfibre cloths from Makro, but the cost doesn't justify it.

As far as I'm concerned it's not about the make of cloth rather more about the technique. Because these cloths lift dirt from surfaces you've got to check the cloth after each wipe. You don't want dirt trapped in the fibres to scratch the surface. Fold the cloth into quarter sections and after each wipe use a new section. Lubrication is also important. Use a LCD/Laptop screen cleaner to lubricate and lift the dirt from the surface.

Got one from the optometrist when I got my glasses. Maybe ask an optometrist?

Try HiFi corp they sell a kit incl. the blue cloth and some cleaning fluid for +-R85. Works a charm on LCD screens and my 42" LCD TV.

sdd goes to check his Samsung Box ....

I fully agree with one poster above regarding technique. My problem is the microscpic fibres that the Pick n Pay brand leave behind - look closely and you will see them there. I true microfibre leaves no residue. That is what I am looking for.

Yes, the yellow ones in my post do leave fine fibres especially if they are new. I tend to wash them before I use them because they pick up fibres during manufacturing. If they still leave fibres after washing them, I would look out for the fine blue microfibre I mentioned in my previous post that's branded for glass use; these leave no fibres after washing.

Spar has the blue ones that is similar to what you get when you by a kit at a PC shop, looks like a face washcloth. I bought 500 ml isopropyl alcohol at a local pharmacy for R40 and mix that with 50% distilled water to complete the job.
