Microsoft is investigating an ongoing and widespread outage blocking access to some Microsoft 365 and Azure services.

"We're currently investigating access issues and degraded performance with multiple Microsoft 365 services and features. More information can be found under MO842351 in the admin center," Redmond said.

However, many users report having issues connecting to the Microsoft 365 admin center and opening the Service Health Status page, which should provide real-time information on issues impacting Microsoft Azure and the Microsoft 365/Power Platform admin centers.

For the moment, the company says this incident is only affecting users in Europe and only a subset of its services.

"We are investigating reports of issues connecting to Microsoft services globally. Customers may experience timeouts connecting to Azure services," Redmond says on the Azure status page.

"We have multiple engineering teams engaged to diagnose and resolve the issue. More details will be provided as soon as possible."

Looks like somebody cracked Microsoft and it's partners....this is happening far too frequently, either that or they're using AI to code too much, either way it's a problem.

Feels like this happens every time I log in to do something. Just exported a list microsoft jeez.

Doesn't look like it's affecting South Africa

I think it's high time that the westernised term for a "cyberattack" is redefined.
The term is loosely thrown about when an IT-system outage is caused by the likes of "enemies" such as China/Iran/Russia/North Korea, but never when it is caused by our "friends".
