I want to move my Windows hosting (just the aspx/www and mssql stuff) onto something more stable than our current MS servers. With Linux I was able to build my own cluster but its not practical to build a cluster for our needs with MS.

I was thinking of moving our windows hosted clients in Microsofts Azure cloud. Does anyone have experience with this cloud, and will what I want to do be practical with it?

They don't offer South African accounts so you will need a US address / credit card or something similar. I found it to be very expensive...

Im not too worried about costing, Im wondering how it would work, and if I can upload custom .NET web applications to it and that type of stuff. Lame that they forgot Africa.

They didn't forget. Their closest data centre is Ireland and as that would give a lousy response for cloud apps, they decided to delay sa rollout until they had an african data centre.
