Microsoft bans 600k Xbox Live accounts

I can't believe they've actually allowed chipped consoles onto Live for so long. Hell, when was the last time you could just up and join a legitimate (non-Hamachi etc) server with a cracked PC game? Heh. Imagine being able to do it with Steam. Of course there's going to be like 600 000 accounts linked to chipped consoles if you don't do anything about it - I'm surprised there weren't more.

The 360 is a little hotbed of piracy, it seems. Heh.

But what percentage of (chipped)Xbox owners actually use Xbox live? There must be something more that they could do.
