So that's like 100% of the crap that OEMs dump on new laptops, along with 90% of the MS stuff as well? That archiver is going to be kept busy at first startup.
 
Erm MS, how about letting us uninstall them for good?
To see this spam reappear after an update is madness.
 
make windows free, bare bone, cli only. charge for the additions like desktop etc.
 
Most apps don't use that much space anyway - the only things that are big are libraries of data that usually aren't stored in a way the archiver would know to associate with the app. Maybe this makes sense if you have a load of games installed but most other apps aren't space hogs. Seems like so little gain for so much work to implement.
 
Que? Could always have uninstalled most of them.

Battery run out again?
Well admittedly I tried this over a year ago. All the games and useless apps, I uninstalled but after the next update, they got automatically reinstalled. Time to try again and see if they stay gone.
