Microsoft launches unified Office app for Android

Microsoft has released its unified Office app for Android devices.

The all-in-one package includes several of the company’s productivity programs – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint – and was previously available as a public preview.

The new app means users no longer have to switch between individual Microsoft programs to work with different types of files.

No, you just log in and the features will unlock. If I recall, all 365 users, both personal and business, can use the Office apps on up to 5 devices.

What situation? The mobile one? Aside from reducing the number of apps to install, which is always good, I can't think of any major pain points of using Office on Android. All I still want is to remove sender avatars in the message lists in Outlook. I hate those colourful circles that for some stupid reason spread like a disease across so many apps.

No, depending on your subscription you can link it to two mobile devices with a maximum of twelve.
