Why did they Hike the Price of XP Pro? Most companys out there are still running on XP.Its Stable.It will Take Development Houses quite some time just to get there Products up to spec with Vista and Windows 7. Its Funny they can make cut backs but one thing for sure is that their executives get a Bonus.
Some of my clients Jaws dropped when we quote them the 2009 price.Just last year we were paying R1200 for Pro basic R899 for Home.
R1800 for software that has to be patched and activated with your precious Bandwidth. They putting everything into Windows 7.ITs also becoming harder and harder to get downgrade disks from suppliers. Windows 7 linux killer my Backside.They should think before sending out a statement like that.
I'm loading Linux on Laptops that give problems setting up XP or Vista. And work perfectly fine. Mail and Internet.
