I need help urgently. I have hit my cap this month and have signed up for a local proxy service. Internet and MSN is working fine through the proxy. It asks me for the authentication logon box of which I then log onto and I can surf.
However, my problem is this...
My email is hosted internationally and I use Microsoft Outlook to download my mail to my local PC. Now, I have changed my email account to use the Internet Explorers dialer for the proxy by clicking
Tools -> Email Accounts -> Next -> Change -> More Settings -> Connection and selecting Connect using Internet Explorers or a 3rd party dialer.
but it seems that Microsoft Outlook is still not using the proxy or doesn't cater for the return Authentication logon box when making it's connection to the proxy. I can't download my email. This is very frustrating because I have to go to webmail everytime. How is everyone else who uses Microsoft Outlook able to get around this?
Am I the ONLY one who uses Microsoft outlook to download his mail from international sites? What am I doing wrong?
