Microsoft promises to improve Windows 10 quality

Windows director of program management for servicing and delivery John Cable outlined in a blog post how the company is working to improve Windows 10's quality.

The post comes in the wake of Windows pausing the October 2018 update due to reported data loss for many users.

I would love for them to start stripping out functionality and focus on performance and reliability.

Features should be something you install as modules. Either as first party features, or 3rd party features

You can start by stop forcing Edge down everyone's throats, and not resetting app preferences after every major update, Edge is not a PDF reader never mind a web browser.

Also bring aero back, windows 10 looks blander than a piece of white paper.

PS Also stop preinstalling crap like games from the windows store to increase numbers!
