They are if you import...

From what I know there are issues with MS selling stuff directly in this country at the moment, they're working on it, but its complicated.

The Surface is new, in the past there was only the Surface Pro 3, which was available in NA from June 2014.

There was also a Surface RT, which did not run on Windows. But there was no Surface 3 RT.
 
Hopefully Takealot will stock these.
Also MS said 27 markets, hopefully they will humor us with these.

Not entirely true..

Surface rt and surface 2 both ran windows.. but the arm build which only supported metro.. this didn't sell well so it's been ditched for an x86 processor

Nice to see lots of low end tablets running Windows entering the market.

Semantics. I don't regard the arm build as Windows. I guess that I should have said x86/x64.
