Not sure about you, but for a lot of that kind of stuff I prefer to just read the docs; as for this summit, there's really a lot of basic topics; which is a probably a choice to appeal to a wide audience, but that does make it pretty boring.

True but it's also nice to get perspective from the guys that are building the technologies and meet the people you follow on Twitter and find out the direction MS is going in.

Also to meet the developers that are using the MS stack and the processes they follow.

The topics I'm mostly interested in are tomorrow. Particularly intrigued to go to the 'Why does Microsoft Love Linux and Open source' session.

There's hardly anything new to learn at the events, it's all online like 6months earlier. That and trying to find 2 days out of the office.....
