Microsoft to be fined for breaking browser anti-trust pledge

Can't wait for them to turn those greedy eyes on Apple.
 
Good ... they should be nailed, not so much for the choice of browser, but for the fact that they falsely did not give me any alternative search and other providers - I spent too much time (although under ten minutes) just to figure out how to remove bing as the default search provider in IE in Windows 8. When I selected the option to look for alternative providers, it kept telling me that there were none.

I had to bing for the solution, then I googled it instead and found a URL that allowed me to add more search providers. So I say, nail them.
 
I had a chat with a colleague the other day about this. I kinda think they shouldn't be nailed. Windows is their product and they should be allowed to do what they want with it. If they want to include IE as part of the whole package then they should be allowed to. It's not like they prevent you from installing other browsers or force you to use IE.
