Had my controller collected on the 28-09-2022 after logging a repair with Microsoft.
(Thumb stick drift issue)

It's been 7 days there is not update on my Microsoft device list to indicate movement.
Couriers site indicates it was delivered.

Apparently it takes 14 to 21 days for you to received your repaired\replacement device once they receive it.
It's been 7 yet no movement.

So for Microsoft Repair service you will be stranded over a month easy without a controller if you use them for the repair.

Has any of you tried there service and how long did it take for your item to be repaired and sent back to you?

Microsoft themselves doesn't repair controllers I don't believe? They replace broken ones that are under warranty. As with all things it goes through a process and the process takes time. You've been waiting 7 days and you know the SLA is at least 14 days. Come back at day 22 and I'm sure we'll all start a riot, and MS will then sit up and take notice. In the meantime go buy another controller so you dont find yourself in this predicament again.

So it's normal to take 14 days? My replacements take less than 5 with Logitech. Logitech does not even ship from South Africa. Usually ships from Netherlands.

If you cool with waiting that long no wonder you cool with just buying a new one.

Sounds like we let Microsoft get away with it...
22 working days... is a Month. That's insane if repairing the device... But you say they just replacing it.!?
Will refrain from using the words I actually want to use....

Go complain to Microsoft dude, not a forum on the internet. From what I have read if you are sending in to MS they do not repair it, they replace it. You'll have to let us know when you get yours back. But I always have 2 controllers in any case so losing 1 isnt the end of the world. In fact my PC had an XBOX One controller which I got working on my Series X as well, so there was no real downtime for me when the last controller broke. It always worth having a spare, especially for Xbox.

"Go complain to Microsoft dude, not a forum on the internet."
....the purpose was to check if others had\have experience with this return\replace process.
Obviously I complained...

"But I always have 2 controllers in any case so losing 1 isnt the end of the world."
We not all as fortunate to blow R1399 on a control for just incase...

"It's always worth having a spare, especially for Xbox."
...not the point I was trying to make. Just so you know , yes there is other controls.

Apparently this is not place to query and share experience as per your post.

"You'll have to let us know when you get yours back"
Why would anybody if you replying like this in the forum...

Really sounds like you saying it the customers fault for not having as spare control.
