Our client, an Entrepreneur with businesses in various industries is seeking to employ an IT Technician at their head office in Pretoria.
Responsibilities
Job responsibilities include but not limited to:
Anti-Virus / Backup / Restore Administration
Email Administration and Understanding how to troubleshoot mail issues
Capable of installing, supporting, maintaining printers and scanners
Remote Support
Understanding of Windows Server environments
Microsoft Desktop support (Multi Versions) including Server 2012 and Microsoft Application Support
Be able to assemble computer systems and Hardware troubleshooting (drives/memory/power supplies etc)
Microsoft Office Support/installations
Basic Network Switch and connectivity support
Network configuration and troubleshooting
Effective IT Support and Services
Required to support internet related software
Skills and Qualifications:
MCSE Certification essential
IT qualification an advantage
Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience
Linux experience essential
Experience supporting Microsoft technologies: Microsoft Operating systems
Web server experience an advantage
