R20k budget, has to have at least a 1080p 144hz screen, fine with either AMD or Intel cpu, prefer an nvidia gpu, need a decent size ssd, decent build quality and warranty. I'll settle for just ok battery life.

The annoying question: You sure you need a laptop. If this is going to end up on a desk tethered to an external monitor for 90% of the time...

I mean at that price you're going to get a 3050 GFX, maybe 4050

Similar boat, I tend to go for second hand. Price drop for a 1 year old dell is fairly decent so I watch carbonite for deals.

I'm debating,I like the portability, dont really have an external monitor I would want to use for long periods,it's an oled and too big for regular pc things imo. It would be at the same desk for maybe 60% of the time but be moved around enough that I think a laptop is the better choice.

I would say these are mid range, dont need to play the latest triple a kak, just esports games, older titles and emulation with some productivity.

Talking about carbonite, how long does it take to get your account approved by an administrator. Its been like three days and I see a component I want to buy on there...

Lol I use se mine for business and pleasure so it's on a desk tethered to a monitor 99% of the time.
Just needs to be portable for support.

I know the wootbooks are rebranded Chinese laptops, anyone have any experience with those
