Yep. It changes things significantly. Nintendo already on their next console so they're not likely too fussed.

There's almost always someone out there who's done the rip, though I'm not sure how unique cartridge IDs play into it.

Massive wave of banned switches incoming. The target market for this product are casuals who want a plug and play piracy solution, but this is the equivalent of installing pirated switch xci's on your sysnand without taking measures to block nintendo servers.
