Migrate from DSL to LTE cost effective & viable?

Is this viable?
And can i port my landline no to a VOIP number only with Telkom LTE offers.

I see some of the devices have no ETHERNET ports. Which I would need for networking existing LAN. So can I buy my own LTE router with LAN ports and just get a SIM card from ISP?

Who offers the best LTE coverage in CAPE TOWN?
Who offers the best data for RAND value n LTE.

I may need to go this route due to reoccuring cable theft. And TELKOMs slow turnaround time to repair stolen lines in Cape Town, which is not something their small sub contractors seem to be able to repair.

At the moment Telkom LTE (Wireless Broadband) is the most affordable but all come with a 24 Month Contract. Coverage I'm not too sure about.

Afrihost Mobile is another option, but will cost much more

Rather look for a wireless provider where they put an external antenna on your roof to connect to wireless network.

LTE works the same in that regard - you also get external antennas for the LTE routers.

But here's the thing - if you cant get proper 3G reception on site, its unlikely one would get proper LTE reception.

The LTE offers appear way to costly still in terms of data.

The reason I posted was that cable theft is just becoming a massive problem where we are... 6 incidents in 6 months.

Afrihost did not have a unify SIM option like Telkom. Wibre's cheapest option is R899 a month...so it doesn't compare well with DSL.
